- In December 2016 we completed a nine year voyage of about 35000 miles around much of the globe. Airstream is a Wauquiez Centurion 42 built in 1985 and re-rigged in 2006. We are retired airline pilots with 57 years between us flying airplanes for a living. Offshore navigation was a common place event in our lives but the transition from 600 knots to 6 was interesting. We had a great adventure. Please enjoy the story.
